We are now searching for a Head of Quality, an experienced professional to lead our Quality department to the next level across the Asia region.


Mission:

The Head of Quality is responsible for setting a quality management program for ensuring quality, efficiency, accuracy, reliability and compliance of the company’s activities and outputs. The Head of Quality will set up parameters and measurement tools, and will analyze the processes of implementation. The Head of Quality will propose performance targets to MD as well as providing process and analytical support for improvements and the development of effective corrective actions.

This function will provide leadership, management and control over the Quality Management Systems (QMS), the Anti-Bribery Management System (ABMS) and the Information Security Management System (ISMS); support each department to ensure that appropriate systems and implementation are in place that it achieve its objectives relating to Quality performance; ensure compliance with the company's standards by developing and conducting sustainability program including Internal Audit; act as an internal consultant for ISO Implementation; provide information related to Quality standards; and propose best practices for performance development and improvement as, with training and coaching of related parties and stakeholders.

This role is based in Jakarta and is responsible for Quality throughout the Asia region. The role reports directly to the Managing Director, and has 6 direct reports in Indonesia and the region.


Responsibilities: 

1. Strategy; Research & Development
  • Develop company Quality strategy
  • Elaborate an annual program of projects with quarterly objectives and targets
  • Provide research on new or improved methodologies and quality management tools
2. Team Leadership, Coaching & Training
  • Lead, direct, and develop a departmental team
  • Responsible for onboarding program of departmental new hires
  • Coaching, mentoring, guiding, supervising and training of team members
3. Quality Management Program
  • Analyze business processes and job descriptions, identify issues related to quality
  • Set up quality control methodologies, parameters and KPIs per position
  • Develop a quality management program to ensure productivity and performance can be measured and meets the Company standards
  • Develop measurement and collection tools and supervise use of these tools
  • Supervise documentation related to Quality Management Program
4. Quality and Internal Control Implementation
  • Supervision of screening, proofreading & editing, and operational call monitoring activities
  • Assist business process owners to develop business processess, workflows and related materials including policies, SOP, and reports
  • Develop internal control work programs and implementation timetable each year
  • Review procedures and monitor implementation
5. Ensure the sustainability of the Quality Management System based on ISO 9001
  • Manage and implement the QMS program and the Internal Audit Program.
  • Working closely with all departments to ensure all activities are compliant with QMS standards
  • Assist process owners to develop action plans to remediate, close gaps, improve and monitor implementation of action plans.
  • Maintaining ISO 9001 (QMS) accreditation
6. ISO Audits Support
  • Organise and coordinate for all ISO Audits (ISO 27001; ISO 37001; and ISO 9001)
  • Prepare and train internal teams prior to the conduct of ISO external audits
  • Selection of ISO external auditors
7. ISO 37001 Anti-bribery Management Systems (ABMS)
  • Design and prepare annual plan for company ABMS activities
  • Direct, coordinate and implement all activities related to the ABMS annual plan
  • Identify, organise, and implement all necessary improvements to company ABMS
  • Conduct company-wide ABMS annual training of all employees
8. Compliance Committee
  • Coordinate the activities of the Compliance Committee
  • Liaise directly with and guide the Compliance Officer
  • Participate in all Compliance Committee periodic reviews and follow-up
  • Participate in preparation of all Compliance committee case reports and follow-up
9. Collaboration with other departments
  • Collaboration with HR and HoDs, in devising and establishing KPIs for each role as well as quality procedures
  • Reporting on KPIs to HR
  • Coordinate with all functions in order to identify and evaluate procedures & other requirements and maintain effective communication with all department
10. Advisory to MD
  • Immediate notification of critical issues
  • Advisory related to the quality management program and internal control program as well as implementation
  • Monthly reporting on findings, internal control and audit, and suggestion for corrective actions
  • Quarterly reporting on quality program implementation

Requirements:

1. Experience:

  • Minimum 3 years’ experience in leading a quality department.
2. Education:
  • Bachelor Degree in a discipline or field relevant to quality, quality control, compliance
  • Post-graduate training in quality
3. Technical Skills:
  • Internal audit
  • Quality in a multi-country environment
  • Leading Quality teams
  • Laws and Regulations in relation to Quality, Quality systems, Anti-bribery management Systems, Compliance
  • Familiar with modern quality control technologies
  • Techniques in quality systems management
  • Methodologies in quality
  • Compliance Committee organization and implementation
4. Language Skills:
  • Bahasa Indonesia proficiency
  • English proficiency, both verbal & written
